The tumble dryer heater element is commonly known as the component which heats the air and dries the clothes. There are two types of Dryer heater elements - some models have the tumble dryer heater element with cut out stats fitted on the element housing and some models do not have the tumble dryer heater element with cut out stats. The cut outs are replaced as a separate part.
Some manufacturerers recommend replacing the cut outs when replacing the heater element. They are easily worked from the back of the tumble dryer by accessing the heater element using a standard screwdriver to remove / replace the heater.
Thermal Cut-Out as known as the TOC (thermal overload cut-out) or Heater Cut out is the component which controls the air temperature in your drier as it dries the clothes.
This part is also known as the thermostat, there are two types of tumble dryer thermal cut outs
- Some models have the tumble dryer heater element with cut out stats fitted on the housing element.
- While other models don't have the cut out stats fitted on the housing.
